Each type of cigarette pack has a different assembly process and material requirements — important to know before choosing your label material.

SKM Cigarette Label

Machine-Made Kretek Cigarette

Packed using automatic machines, so the label must be in sheet form and the gluing process must match the cigarette machine itself. In addition, when using metalised paper

Use Metalised Transfer so the label doesn't jam during machine processing.

SKT Cigarette Label

Hand-Made Kretek Cigarette

Assembled by hand, making it more flexible — can use labels with or without adhesive depending on production needs.

Both Metalised Transfer and PET can be used.

SPM Cigarette Label

Machine-Made White Cigarette

Just like SKM, processed with automatic machines, so the label must be precise and compatible with the machine system.

Use Metalised Transfer to avoid jamming in the machine.

Important for SKM & SPM packs: use Transfer metalised paper, not PET. PET-based labels risk jamming when processed by automatic rolling/packing machines (cigarette machines). Metalised Transfer still delivers a premium gloss finish without disrupting machine performance.
